Building confidence as a new homemaker, my simple hot chocolate recipe, and exciting upcoming things!
Who says you’ll be great at everything right away?
Building confidence as a homemaker is a journey that unfolds over time.
It’s about embracing growth, learning from experiences, and finding joy in creating a peaceful and welcoming home.
Remember, no one becomes an expert overnight—it’s the small, consistent efforts that make the biggest difference.
Tune into my latest episode to dive deeper into this topic and gain encouragement for your own homemaking journey!
My Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups grass-fed whole milk
2 tablespoons organic cacao powder
2-3 tablespoons pure maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for warmth)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Warm the Milk: In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam (but don't let it boil).
Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the cacao powder and cinnamon.
Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the warm milk, whisking constantly to dissolve the cacao and prevent lumps.
Sweeten and Flavor: Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Continue whisking until fully combined and heated to your preferred temperature.
Serve: Pour into a mug and top with your homemade whipped cream.
My Whipped Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup grass-fed heavy cream
1-2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Prepare the Cream: Pour the heavy cream into a mixing bowl or container suitable for an immersion blender.
Add Flavorings: Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to the cream.
Whip: Use an immersion blender to blend the mixture until soft peaks form (this usually takes about 1-2 minutes). Be careful not to over-whip, as it can turn into butter!
Chill (Optional): Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Assembly:
Pour the hot chocolate into a mug.
Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
Sprinkle a tiny pinch of cinnamon or cacao powder on top for garnish.
Enjoy your cozy, nourishing treat! 🌟

A Prayer Just for You
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the blessing of my role as a homemaker. Some days I feel unsure, inadequate, or overwhelmed, but I trust that You’ve equipped me for this calling.
Help me to see the value in what I do and to embrace grace over perfection.
Fill me with confidence, creativity, and joy as I care for my home and family.
Replace my doubts with Your truth, and guide me to reflect Your love and peace in every task. Strengthen my hands and my heart, Lord.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Bible Verse of the Week:
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."
— Colossians 3:23
This reminds you that your efforts in homemaking are ultimately for the Lord, bringing purpose and confidence to everything you do, no matter how small.
