A Blog & Community for Homemakers...Welcome!
Welcome to my Substack! Learn how I started Young Homemakers Club. My growth, lessons I learned along the way, and whats in store for YHC moving forward!
Young Homemakers Club birthed as a response to my desire to create a community.
I moved to a new state, learned a whole bunch about biblical womanhood and homemaking, and decided that I would love to create a community of women who love the same things that I do.
I often dreamed about hosting beautiful picnics, supper clubs, retreats, and more.
So, I started to do the work and posted my thoughts on reels with a lot of words on them, and God allowed my community on Instagram to flourish.
In one month I grew from 500 followers to 115k followers, and now over 167k on Instagram and many on other platforms.
I don’t share this to boast, but to attest to the fact that I am not alone, and neither are you.
Many women desire community to learn more about homemaking, how to live as a godly woman, and how to be excellent wives.
After a few months, I hosted the first official gathering: The YHC Spring Picnic ‘24.
Here is a little look at our first community event!

I have a very big passion for beauty, nature, and peace.
So, I made sure that the venue that I chose was near a lot of beautiful, large trees. You could hear the birds chirping and feel the air from the large pond close by.
We played games, laughed so hard, and enjoyed a Bible study together.
I met some lovely ladies and it was honestly one of my favorite days this year. It made me realize that we can really build a village of women and friends around us who are interested in the same things.
After this, I joined with over 7 teachers in the homemaking space to create an online community where they could watch tons of lessons from these teachers on homemaking, health, marriage, motherhood, etiquette, and more.
It grew to a wonderful community of ladies, but I was starting to see a turn in the way that ladies showed up in the community.
So, after much thought, I decided that I was going to start something new.
I am starting this Substack as a way to give ladies the information they want to see, without so much of a pressure to have to be on calls or present all of the time.
It feels slow, and intentional. Which has always been my intention with the community that I created.
So, welcome to Young Homemakers Club.
I’m excited to continue doing the work here that we started on our other community platform.
