I remember hearing someone say that she is really bothered when her husband says, "we are pregnant," as she feels like her value and worth as the one physically carrying the child is somehow taken away by that statement. She wanted him to say, "my wife is pregnant with our child."
I could not disagree more. I, when I was pregnant, would proudly say, "we are pregnant," and asked my husband to do the same.💙💙
